Demographic Data Analysis of RedTop Cemetery

This Lab exercise will used Excel (or any other spreadsheet program) to process complex data sets. I have downloaded and reformatted a large data set from Redtop Cemetery in Northern Boone County.

To complete the lab, you need to:

1. print a copy of the excel instructions
2. Download to your computer or a disk (for use later) the Redtop cemetery file.
   NOTE: To download this file successfully on the Mac, press the OPTION button on your keyboard and hold it down. Then click on THIS LINK. A window will open asking where you want the file saved. Do not try to open this file by just clicking on it. If you do, it seems to mess up the downloading process and the file you download isn't complete.
   
   To download on PC, right click and select "save target as..." for Internet Explorer or "save link as..."

• Histogram of Complete Data Set
• Histogram of Males
• Histogram of Females
• Population Pyramid of Complete Data Set
• First three pages of the data set
