Demographic Data Analysis of RedTop Cemetery

This Lab exercise will used Excel (or any other spreadsheet program) to process complex data sets. I have downloaded and reformatted a large data set from Redtop Cemetery in Northern Boone County. This cemetery has a majority of its data online. NOTE: Do not use the dataset from the Redtop website. Click instead on the link below to download the data in a file that has been formatted for excel

To complete the lab, you need:

  1. Excel Instructions - Print a copy of them before you begin.
  2. REDTOP DATA FILE. DOWNLOAD THIS FILE - To download on PC, right click and select "save target as..." for Internet Explorer or "save link as...". If you are using a Macintosh, just click on the name and a box will open asking where you want to save the file. If you are working in a campus computer lab, you will need to save the file on either a floppy or a zip disk.
